Description

Get ready for a thrilling adventure in Troll Hunt, a game of strategy and skill for 2 to 3 players. Published in 2014 by renowned game designer Veli-Matti Saarinen, this medieval fantasy game is all about outsmarting those pesky trolls that are wreaking havoc in the neighborhood. The good news is that these towering beasts have a weakness - a ray of sunlight to the eyes and they turn to stone immediately. Armed with magical lanterns and mirrors, players must use their cunning to guide the light into the trolls' eyes, and the player who turns the most trolls to stone wins. The game takes place on a modular board, depicting a countryside with meadows, lakes, mountains, and troll keeps, which is constructed before every game, ensuring that no two games are the same. The trolls' unpredictable arrival adds an extra layer of excitement to the game, keeping players on their toes. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of just 45 minutes, Troll Hunt is the perfect game for a fun and challenging experience. The combination of dice rolling, hexagon grid, and tile placement mechanics makes for a tactical and engaging game that will have you coming back for more. So gather your friends, grab your lanterns and mirrors, and get ready to join the troll hunt.
