Friends and Communities with Ulysses

Description

Get ready for a thrilling adventure with Ulysses, a game of strategy and skill for 3 to 5 players. First published in 2001, this classic game has been delighting players for years with its easy-to-learn rules and exciting gameplay. Designed by Andrea Angiolino and Pier Giorgio Paglia, Ulysses combines auction and bidding mechanics with pick-up and deliver elements, making it a unique and engaging experience. Players take on the role of navigators, charting a course through the Mediterranean, visiting cities and completing challenges to emerge victorious. As players move Ulysses' ship along the lines connecting cities, they must balance their own goals with the need to outmaneuver their opponents. The lead player has a significant advantage, with a range of actions at their disposal that others do not. But other players can still challenge and propose alternative destinations, adding a social and interactive element to the game. With a playtime of just 45 minutes, Ulysses is the perfect game for a fun and competitive evening with friends. Whether you're a fan of exploration, racing, or card games, Ulysses has something to offer, making it a great addition to any game collection.
