Description

Valeria: Card Kingdoms – Shadowvale: Kickstarter Edition is an exciting expansion to the popular Valeria: Card Kingdoms game, bringing a fresh wave of darkness to the kingdom. Released in 2019, this expansion introduces a new set of Citizens, Monsters, Domains, and Dukes, all designed to be played standalone, using components from the base game, or combined with existing card stacks for entirely new experiences. With its simple rules and quick playtime of just 30 to 45 minutes, it's perfect for 1 to 5 players looking for a fun and fast-paced adventure. In this edition, the kingdom is under threat from werewolves, vampires, and other shadowy creatures that lurk in the night, seeking to tear apart the people of Valeria. Fortunately, a new generation of Citizens has emerged, each with their own unique skills and specializations, some of which are perfectly suited to taking down these dark creatures. The Kickstarter edition is a special compilation that includes not only the Shadowvale expansion but also Valeria: Card Kingdoms – Expansion Pack #06: Relics and the Undead Samurai Rider, a powerful Warden-level monster. This means that players will have access to a wealth of new content, including new card stacks, monsters, and game mechanics like deck, bag, and pool building, dice rolling, and card drafting. Game designer Isaias Vallejo has crafted an expansion that seamlessly integrates with the base game, while also offering a distinct and thrilling experience. Whether you're a seasoned fan of Valeria: Card Kingdoms or just discovering the series, Shadowvale: Kickstarter Edition is an excellent addition to your gaming collection. With its mix of fantasy and adventure, this expansion promises to deliver hours of entertaining gameplay, as you battle to protect the kingdom from the forces of darkness and emerge victorious.
