Description
In VALHAL, you'll take on the role of a Jarl, leading your own Viking Settlement on the island of Fjörnheim. Your goal is to regain the Favour of the Gods by raiding towns and villages, gathering resources, and constructing new buildings. The game starts with summer raids, where you'll attack villages with your Nordic Warriors and fight using a simple yet intuitive battle system. Success brings treasure and resources to build and expand your settlement. As you progress through the seasons, you'll draw event cards that bring stories and challenges inspired by Norse mythology. The Gods' will is represented by unique cards, granting benevolence or wrath depending on your actions. With revised rules and high-quality components, including plastic coins and dice, the second edition of VALHAL offers an immersive and engaging experience for 2 to 4 players. Gather your resources, build your settlement, and aim to collect 7 Favour of the Gods points to reach the Golden Gates of VALHAL.
