Description

Vindication: Dreams & Nightmares is the latest expansion to the Vindication series, and it's a game-changer. Published in 2025, this expansion can be played with 2 to 5 players and can last anywhere from 45 to 150 minutes, depending on how deep you dive into the world of dreams and nightmares. The rules are simple and easy to pick up, so you can jump right in and start exploring. As an expansion for the base games Vindication and Vindication: Archive of the Ancients, Dreams & Nightmares adds a whole new layer of complexity and excitement to the game. The core idea of the game is to navigate the world of your subconscious, where dreams and nightmares can either help or hinder your progress. The expansion comes with 30 new cards that influence the rest mechanism, giving you additional benefits or consequences for your resting companion. When you draw a Dream or Nightmare card, you'll attach it to your character and have to deal with its effects. Each card has a special ability that only triggers when you take a Rest action, and a specific criterion for an Awaken effect that can give you bonuses and help you progress in the game. The beauty of Vindication: Dreams & Nightmares lies in its ability to add a new layer of strategy and depth to the original game. With the new cards and mechanics, you'll have to think carefully about when to rest and when to push forward, all while navigating the unpredictable world of your subconscious. Will you be able to awaken from your nightmares and gain new clarity, or will you get consumed by your darkest fears? The game is all about finding the right balance between exploring your dreams and escaping your nightmares, and it's an absolute blast to play. Whether you're a seasoned fan of the series or just looking for a new adventure, Vindication: Dreams & Nightmares is definitely worth checking out.
