Virtual Revolution

Friends and Communities with Virtual Revolution

Description

In the not-so-distant future of 2047, the world has become obsessed with Verses, virtual universes created by powerful corporations. As an employee of one of these mega corporations, you're on a mission to dominate Neo-Paris in the game Virtual Revolution. With a playtime of 90 minutes, you'll have ample opportunity to strategize and outmaneuver your opponents, whether you're playing with a group of 2 to 4 friends. The game's normal complexity makes it easy for board game enthusiasts to dive right in, and its unique blend of area majority and influence mechanics will keep you on your toes. As you navigate the world of Virtual Revolution, you'll have to make tough decisions about how to allocate your three actions per turn. Will you recruit agents to do your bidding, generate income to fund your operations, or build servers to expand your reach? Maybe you'll start new Verses to attract more followers or improve your reputation to gain an edge over your competitors. But be careful - your actions may not always be above board, and you risk attracting unwanted attention from Interpol or activist groups. With its science fiction theme and movie-inspired setting, Virtual Revolution is a thrilling game of strategy and cunning that will keep you coming back for more. Designed by Guy-Roger Duvert and Cyril Villalonga, this 2023 release is a must-play for fans of complex, immersive games.
