Description
War of the Ring is a classic board game that drops you into the epic world of Middle Earth, where armies are gathering and heroes are preparing to battle the darkness spreading from Mordor. The game is unique in that it's played on two levels, with great armies clashing in a traditional wargame style, while individual characters engage in a separate struggle over the fate of the One Ring. As one of two to three players, you'll navigate the intricate dance between these two levels, using a combination of strategy and luck to outmaneuver your opponents. With its richly detailed map of Middle Earth and intricate gameplay mechanics, War of the Ring is a must-play for fans of adventure, fantasy, and wargames. First published in 1977, this game has become a highly sought-after collector's item, and its engaging gameplay continues to captivate players to this day.
