Description
Warhammer: Diskwars – Legions of Darkness is the perfect addition to your Warhammer: Diskwars experience, introducing 51 new heroes and units to shake things up on the battlefield. This expansion brings a fresh wave of terror to the game, with the Dark Elves and Skaven each getting a hero and enough units to form a regiment, and the Vampire Counts bringing their own brand of darkness to the fight. The real stars of the show, though, are the new Vampire Counts heroes and units, armed with the Fear and Reanimate X keywords that let them manipulate the battlefield in terrifying ways. Units with Fear are the stuff of nightmares, sowing panic among their foes and limiting their ability to fight back. As long as a unit with Fear is pinning an enemy, the panicked foe's counterattack value becomes almost nonexistent, making them easy prey for your other units. And if you thought that was bad, just wait until you see the Reanimate X ability in action, which lets your units bring fallen comrades back to life and toss them back into the fray. The size of the disk you can reanimate depends on the value of X, but either way, it's a game-changer. You can reinforce your troops without using an activation token, and while they'll be sent back to the casualty pile at the end of the phase, it's a powerful way to turn the tide of battle in your favor. With Legions of Darkness, the forces of Destruction just got a whole lot stronger. The new command cards are designed to reward Casters, whether you're playing as the Vampire Counts, Dark Elves, Skaven, Orcs, or Chaos, and the possibilities for necromancy and manipulation are endless. Whether you're a hardcore Warhammer fan or just looking for a new challenge, this expansion has something for everyone. So gather your friends and get ready to unleash a little darkness on the world – with up to four players able to join in on the fun, the battle is about to get a whole lot more interesting.
