Description
In Whistle Stop, you're the boss of your own railroad company, aiming to build a network of routes and deliver goods across the American West. The game is set in the late 1800s, when the first transcontinental railroad was completed, and the country was ripe for railway expansion. You'll pick up valuable cargo, create whistle stops, and gain shares in other railroads as you make your way west. As you play, you'll need to optimize your actions, manage your coal resources, and use special abilities to outmaneuver your competitors. With a playtime of 75 minutes and rules of normal complexity, Whistle Stop is a great fit for board game fans who enjoy strategy and competition. Designed by Scott Caputo and published in 2017, this game offers a fresh take on pick-up-and-deliver gameplay, with plenty of opportunities to build, deliver, and succeed in the Wild West.
