Description

In the world of organized crime, it's every player for themselves in Wiseguys, a game of deception and deduction for 2 to 8 players. Set in the Golden Age of organized crime, you'll lead a rival crime family vying for control of the city, using tactics like bluffing and simultaneous action selection to outmaneuver your opponents. With easy-to-learn rules, you can jump right into the action, drafting characters and taking turns to earn wealth and respect. As you play, you'll need to stay on your toes, adapting your strategy as the game unfolds and fortunes change hands quickly and unexpectedly. Each character has their own unique abilities, which you'll use to your advantage to earn cash, take it from others, or disrupt your opponents' plans. But it's not just about the character you choose - it's also about what you do during your turn. You'll have the chance to perform one of three illegal operations, adding an extra layer of strategy to the game. With so many options and variables at play, Wiseguys is a game that's full of surprises, keeping you engaged and guessing until the very end. As the game designer Darrell Ferris envisioned when he created Wiseguys in 2014, the goal is simple: be the first player to reach the required level of respect and you'll win the game. But getting there won't be easy, as you'll need to balance short-term gains with long-term strategy, all while trying to stay one step ahead of your opponents. With its unique blend of card drafting, simultaneous action selection, and social deduction, Wiseguys is a game that's sure to appeal to fans of mafia-themed games and strategic card games alike. Whether you're a seasoned gamer or just looking for a fun and challenging experience, Wiseguys is a game that's sure to deliver.
