Description

Word Basket is a fast-paced and exciting game that combines action, dexterity, and wordplay, making it a unique and entertaining experience for 2 to 8 players. Designed by Toshio Kobayashi and published in 2002, this game is all about quick thinking and rapid-fire word association. Players take turns throwing cards from their hand into a plastic basket, while simultaneously shouting out a word that meets specific criteria - either a word that ends with the kana (Japanese character) on the thrown card, or a word with a number of syllables corresponding to the number on the card. The game rules are simple to learn, and playtime is just 10 minutes, making it perfect for a quick game night or a fun break from more complex games. As players throw cards and come up with words, they must also remember that each new word must start with the last letter of the previous word, adding an extra layer of challenge and excitement to the game. With its unique blend of physical and mental challenges, Word Basket is a great way to get friends and family laughing and competing together, and its short playtime means you can play multiple rounds in no time.
