Description

Word Capture is a fast-paced game that requires speed and wit, perfect for 2 to 6 players looking for a quick and exciting experience. With a playtime of just 10 to 15 minutes, this game is great for a fun fill-in or as a main event for a game night. The rules are simple and can be explained quickly, making it easy for new players to jump in. Designed by Luffy and published in 2021, Word Capture combines real-time and speed matching mechanics to create a thrilling experience. In Word Capture, players must call out associated words based on the conditions shown on the cards, which can include matching the number of characters, syllables, or starting letter. The twist is that players must do this quickly, as the last player to call out a word or the player who fails to follow the condition will receive a penalty point. If two players call out a word at the same time, they'll both receive a penalty point. The game ends when there's only one or fewer cards left in the deck, and the player with the fewest penalty points wins. With its unique blend of action, dexterity, and word-based challenges, Word Capture is a party game that's sure to get everyone laughing and competing together.
