Description

Wort für Wort is a breezy, fast‑learning word chase that’s perfect for families, classrooms, or any small crew of up to five players who love a little linguistic challenge without the rule‑book marathon. In about twenty‑five minutes you’ll be snapping up sets of matching letters and little word cards, racing to complete your collections while sneaking in a dose of German vocabulary that feels more like a party trick than a lesson. Designed by Helmut Walch back in ’98, the game’s rules are so simple you can get a round started before the snack bowl is empty, yet the set‑collection mechanic keeps everyone guessing which letters will clinch the win. It’s a light, educational word game that makes learning feel like play, and it’s just as fun whether you’re playing solo or shouting “Ich habe!” with friends.
