In the world of Oshra, a power struggle is brewing as the Emperor's own daughter leads a rebellion against him. This is your chance to seize control and emerge as the most powerful dynasty. In Yield, 2 to 5 players take on the roles of Leaders of the five most powerful houses, each vying to extend their realm in the midst of civil war. The game is set 43 years prior to the events of Hidden Leaders, and its simple rules make it easy to dive right in, despite the complex web of alliances and battles that will unfold. As you command your armies across a tactical map, you'll need to make strategic decisions about which action cards to play from your hand. Recruit units, conquer fortresses, and defeat your opponents in battles to gain the upper hand. With a playtime of 40 to 100 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to develop your strategy and outmaneuver your foes. After three rounds or 12 player turns, the player with the most victory points, earned by controlling the most fortresses, will be declared the winner. With its unique blend of area majority, deduction, and hand management mechanics, Yield promises a thrilling experience for fans of fantasy, medieval, and territory-building games.
