This website is a non-commercial project developed and maintained by a small group of nerdy friends.
We are professional software developers and share an interest for board games and technology.
The project started as a digital playground for us to experiment with new technologies and grew over the years into a small community of board game enthusiasts.
This project is a labor of love. Our mission is to get more people playing physical board games together.

There are no ads, no subscriptions, no affiliate links, and no tracking.
The project has been operating at a loss every single month since we registered the domain and went live on the 23rd of March 2021 and that’s okay.
We consider developing, maintaining and operating this site a hobby and like most hobbies, it costs a bit of time and money to keep going. We're okay with that.

Kallax is being used to organize half a million board games for a couple of thousand users. If you find yourself with a few spare coins at the end of your turn, we’d be grateful for a small donation to help offset the operating costs.
