Description

In the world of Archmage, players take on the role of fledgling Mages, traveling the lands to recover ancient relics, gather followers, and train apprentices in six spheres of magic. The game is set in a fantasy world where the Ruined City, once home to the powerful Archmage and her Order of Mages, now lies in ruins. Players must navigate the twisted wilderness, encountering followers of their opponents and dealing with the challenges of the journey. As players build their Order, they will pit apprentices against each other, attain new spells and magical powers, and build their own Mage tower to watch over the lands. With a modular spell system and variable player powers, each game of Archmage is unique, offering a mix of strategic and tactical play. The game is designed for 1 to 4 players and takes around 60 to 120 minutes to play, making it a great option for fans of exploration, fantasy, and territory building games.
