Description
In 15th century Bruges, culture and commerce thrive, making it one of Europe's wealthiest cities. Players take on the role of merchants, navigating relationships with the city's powerful figures while competing for influence and status. However, dramatic events cast a shadow over the city, threatening prosperity and requiring players to think strategically. With 165 character cards at their disposal, players can perform various actions, from hiring workers to building canals and houses. Each card has a unique color that determines its strength and area of use, adding a layer of complexity to the game. As players gather prestige, they must balance their actions to outdo their opponents and become the most prestigious merchant in Bruges. This game of strategy and skill, designed by Stefan Feld, offers a fun and challenging experience for 2 to 4 players, lasting around 60 minutes.
