Description
The Iberian Peninsula is ripe for railroad expansion, but it won't be easy. In Iberian Gauge, 3 to 5 players take on the challenge of building train networks across this rugged terrain. As a shareholder in various railroad companies, you'll invest in stocks and then use those shares to build tracks, with the order of purchase determining the order of construction. As you navigate the hexagon grid, you'll need to balance the cost of building new tracks with the potential benefits of expansion. Leasing tracks from other companies can help reduce costs, but failure to grow your railroad will lead to plummeting stock values. With a playtime of 60 to 90 minutes, Iberian Gauge offers a fun and strategic experience for fans of economic and train-themed games, requiring a mix of investment, network building, and tactical planning to emerge victorious.
