Description
Carcassonne: The City is a fun and interactive game where 2 to 4 players work together to build a medieval town by placing tiles. The town area grows as players add new tiles, and the town walls expand around it, starting from a wooden gate. The game is easy to learn, making it accessible to new players, and can be played in just 30 to 45 minutes. As players build the town, they can place their followers as guards on the walls, giving them a great view of the town and earning extra points. The game also includes cylindrical wooden towers that add to the town's aesthetic appeal. With no necessary in-game text, players of all languages can enjoy Carcassonne: The City, designed by Klaus-Jürgen Wrede and first published in 2004. The combination of tile placement and area majority mechanics makes for a engaging and challenging game.
