Verified Geek ✅

BoardGameGeek users can now link their account to Kallax. Verified accounts can use GeekMail as an alternative to regular e-mail for account recovery. Once verified other users can find you by both BGG and KLX username.

Verification is performed by sending a GeekMail to our verification account. The process is automated and takes less than a minute.

Friend request notifications🤝

The notification system will now also include a message when you have pending friend requests from other users.

BoardGameGeek Import ☁️

Items with tags we would normally ignore (reviewed, want to play, commented on, previously owned) are now flagged instead. Flagged items can be optionally be imported into a folder of your choice in the sync process.

ASP.NET Core 9.0 🤖

The site has been updated to ASP.NET Core 9.0 and MudBlazor 8.5.1. The UI now supports nested menu items. The first page visit after this update might take a a bit longer than usual as your browser will download the new version of dotnetwasm.

Content Delivery Network 🐇

We have been testing content delivery networks after migrating off Amazon CloudFront and have decided on Bunny as our provider.
