House Rules overhaul ✨

Our development blog /house-rules, that you are reading this on right now, has received a long needed overhaul! The design is now more visually pleasing, comes with easier navigation and the overview page has also been updated.

More importantly it now supports embedded images! We have added it to the navigation menu under info for easy access.

Event updates 📅

We continue to improve the event feature and are seeing an increase in users taking advantage of the feature! Sadly, the good times have to end at some time so we have added an (optional) end-time to the events to indicate when the board game night is expected to be over.

You can also now export events to Google Calendar, Outlook or download as .ICS format. Note that exported events will not be updated if the organizer makes changes to the event.

This feature will default to 3 hour long events if no end-time is configured.

Minor changes 🤏

• added support for headings in markdown (event description and chat)
• fixed bug where 'Owns X games' on /profile would include wish-list
• fixed styling of links to show pointer-cursor on hover
• updated /chat backend in preparation for bring this feature to events
• updated forgot password template to include username
