Description

In Codenames, two teams of 2 to 8 players compete to see who can make contact with all of their agents first. The game is simple to learn, with rules that can be explained quickly, but it's full of deduction and communication challenges. Each team has a spymaster who knows the secret identities of 25 agents, represented by single-word codenames like "disease" or "carrot". The spymasters take turns giving clues, which consist of a single word and a number, to help their teammates identify their agents. The teammates then try to guess which agents belong to their team, without uncovering the assassin by mistake. The game is a thrilling race to see who can contact all of their agents first, and it's perfect for a quick 15-minute playtime with friends or family.
