Description

In Azul, you're a tile-laying artist tasked with embellishing the walls of the Royal Palace of Evora. This abstract strategy game is easy to learn, but challenging to master, as you compete against 2 to 4 other players to create the most beautiful mosaic. Players take turns drafting colored tiles from suppliers to their player board, trying to outmaneuver their opponents to get the tiles they need. As you place your tiles, you'll score points for creating specific patterns and completing sets, with extra points awarded at the end of the game for your most impressive designs. With a playtime of just 30 to 45 minutes, Azul is the perfect game for a fun and challenging evening with friends. Designed by Michael Kiesling and first published in 2017, Azul has become a modern classic, with its simple yet engaging gameplay and beautiful tile-laying mechanics making it a must-play for fans of puzzle and strategy games.
