Description

Bohn Camillo is a unique twist on the popular game Bohnanza, designed specifically for two players. Released in 2011, this expansion was created by renowned game designers Uwe Rosenberg and Sascha Hendriks, and it's easy to learn, making it accessible to new players. The game is centered around a love-hate relationship between two characters, reminiscent of the movie Don Camillo e l'on. Peppone, where they constantly try to outsmart and sabotage each other. As you play, you'll find yourself fighting, spying, and even stealing from your opponent, all while attempting to thwart their plans. The gameplay involves hand management, set collection, and trading, which adds a layer of complexity and strategy to the game. As an expansion for the base game Bohnanza, Bohn Camillo offers a fresh take on the original, with new mechanics and interactions that are tailored to two-player gameplay. The game's farming theme is still present, but now it's infused with a sense of negotiation and cunning, as you try to outmaneuver your opponent. The "Bohn Gottes" – or Bean God – serves as a neutral entity, sometimes intervening to prevent things from getting out of hand, but also capable of showing generosity when the situation calls for it. With its unique blend of competition and cooperation, Bohn Camillo offers a fun and engaging experience for two players. The simple rules make it easy to dive in and start playing, and the game's short playtime means you can fit in a quick match whenever you want. Whether you're a fan of the original Bohnanza or just looking for a new game to try with a friend, Bohn Camillo is definitely worth checking out. Its mix of strategy, social interaction, and lighthearted theme makes it a great addition to any game collection, and its two-player focus means you can enjoy it with a friend or family member whenever you want.
