Description

In Sheriff of Nottingham, players take on the role of merchants trying to make a profit by selling goods in the city during Prince John's visit. However, to get their goods into the city, they must first get past the Sheriff of Nottingham, who is tasked with keeping an eye out for liars and tricksters. Players must decide whether to play it safe with legal goods or risk it all by sneaking in illicit goods. Each turn, one player becomes the Sheriff, determining who gets into the city and who gets inspected. Players can declare their goods, negotiate deals, and try to persuade the Sheriff to let them in or target another player. With its unique blend of betting, bluffing, and negotiation, Sheriff of Nottingham is a fun and engaging game for 3 to 5 players that can be learned quickly and played in about 60 minutes.
