Description

In Atlantis Rising: Medusa Unleashed, the stakes are higher than ever as the wrathful gods seek to punish the Atlanteans by sinking their island forever. To thwart any efforts to save Atlantis, Athena unleashes the gorgon Medusa, who turns the populace to stone with a single gaze. You and your fellow players must work together to defeat Medusa and save your people from the rising waters. With a simple ruleset that can be explained quickly, this cooperative game is accessible to players of all experience levels, and can be enjoyed by 1 to 7 players. As you navigate the challenges of the game, you'll encounter Monsters, persistent misfortunes that hinder your progress, and face off against Medusa, who is drawn to a random tile on the island each round. But you won't be without help - the Artisan, a new playable councilor, can create mystical items to equip your workers with exciting new powers. With the ability to construct a fabled mirror shield, you can even break Medusa's curse and turn her rage towards the gods, unlocking her as a councilor for future games. With playtime ranging from 60 to 120 minutes, Atlantis Rising: Medusa Unleashed offers a thrilling and unpredictable experience that will keep you on the edge of your seat as you work to save Atlantis from the depths.
