The Deathwing Expansion builds on the excitement of the base game, introducing new personnel like the Marine Captain and Marine Librarian, as well as a range of deadly new weapons to take on the alien hordes. The expansion also introduces multi-level games, complete with pitfalls and ladders, and a roster sheet to help you organize your squads. New rules for ambush, teleporting, and more add a fresh layer of strategy to the game, while new scenario features like crates, rubble, and cryogenic tanks create a more immersive and challenging environment.
