For example, the Leng Tribe has access to spellbooks like Surprise, which allows you to swap out an enemy acolyte with one of your Proto-Shoggoths, or Fulmination, which gives you the chance to gain Elder Signs after a battle. The Sarkomand Tribe, on the other hand, has spellbooks like Doomsday, which lets you place an Independent Great Old One at your controlled Gate, or Inerrant, which rewards you with Elder Signs for having Great Old Ones at enemy-controlled Gates. With these new spellbooks, you'll be able to experience the game in a whole new way, using action points, area movement, dice rolling, and variable player powers to outmaneuver your opponents.
