Description
Cthulhu Wars is a strategy board game where players take on the roles of alien races and gods from the Cthulhu mythos. The game is set on a map of Earth, where each player controls one of four factions, recruiting cultists, moving units, and engaging in battles to accumulate power. Players spend their power to accomplish various tasks, such as summoning monsters, building gates, and casting spells, all in an effort to awaken their Great Old One. The game is won by accumulating points on the Doom Track, with the first player to reach 30 points declared the victor, provided they have unlocked all six of their spell books. With unique sets of monsters, spell books, and special abilities for each faction, players have multiple strategies to choose from, making for a thrilling and unpredictable experience for 2 to 4 players, with the option to expand to up to 8 players with additional factions and maps.
