Description

In Great Western Trail: El Paso, you're a rancher in the late 19th century, driving your cattle to the bustling city of El Paso to send them off on their journey across the United States. With five railroad companies connecting the city to their network, the cattle trade is booming, and you're looking to cash in. You'll hire cowboys, builders, and engineers to help you achieve your goals, whether that's buying up the best cattle to increase the value of your herd, constructing buildings to unlock new actions, or participating in the expansion of the railroad to secure lucrative contracts. As you play, you'll experience a mix of deck, bag, and pool building, hand management, and set collection, all set against the backdrop of the Wild West. With a playtime of 60 to 90 minutes, Great Western Trail: El Paso is the perfect game for a night in with friends or a solo adventure, and its normal complexity makes it easy for fans of board games to pick up. Designed by Johannes Krenner and Alexander Pfister, this game is a great introduction to the Great Western Trail series, and its variable setup ensures that no two games are ever the same. Whether you're playing with one to four players, you'll be immersed in the world of cattle trading and railroad expansion, competing to earn the most money and victory points.
