Description

In Great Western Trail, you're a rancher in 19th century America, herding cattle from Texas to Kansas City to earn money and victory points. The goal is to arrive in Kansas City with your most valuable cattle, but it's not just about the herd - you also need to navigate the buildings and opportunities along the way. Hiring the right staff, like cowboys to improve your herd or engineers for the railroad, can make all the difference. As you cleverly manage your herd and make the most of the trail's opportunities, you'll be building towards victory. With a playtime of 75 to 150 minutes, Great Western Trail is a game that requires strategy and planning, but offers a fun and rewarding experience for 2 to 4 players. Designed by Alexander Pfister, this 2016 game is a great choice for those who enjoy economic and animal-themed games with a touch of the American West.
