Description

Gorkamorka is a wildly entertaining tabletop miniatures wargame that drops you right into the midst of a battle for survival on a barren, dead planet. The game revolves around the eternal struggle between two Ork factions, the Gorkers and the Morkers, who are at each other's throats in a fight for dominance. As a player, you'll get to design your own Ork mob, complete with a motley crew of warriors and their trusty vehicles, from trucks to wartraks to bikes. With a playtime of around 120 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to get immersed in the action and mayhem that unfolds. The game's unique movement system is a real highlight, allowing you to zoom around the battlefield in search of treasure and rivals to beat up. And don't worry if you're new to board games - the rules are of normal complexity, so you should have no issue picking it up, especially if you're already familiar with other tabletop wargames. One of the things that really sets Gorkamorka apart, though, is its sense of humor - it's a game that doesn't take itself too seriously, and is all the more enjoyable for it. The game allows you to build up your mob over time, recruiting new warriors and adding to your arsenal, similar to other games like Necromunda, but with a decidedly more lighthearted tone. First released back in 1997, Gorkamorka has become a cult classic among fans of miniatures wargames, and it's easy to see why. With its unique blend of action, strategy, and humor, it's a game that's perfect for 2 to 4 players looking for a fun and unpredictable experience. The game's designers, Andy Chambers, Rick Priestley, and Gavin Thorpe, have done a great job of crafting a game that's both easy to learn and hard to put down. And with the addition of expansions like Digganob, which adds new factions and scenarios to the mix, there's always something new to discover in the world of Gorkamorka. So gather your friends, grab your dice, and get ready to join the fight for survival on the mean streets of this dead planet.
