In The Ruhr: A Story of Coal Trade, you're transported to 18th century Germany, where coal is in high demand and the Ruhr river is the key to transporting it. However, navigating the river is no easy feat, with obstacles and large dams making it a challenging journey. As you transport and sell coal to cities and factories, you'll acquire unique progress markers and gain access to higher value coal, giving you an edge over your competitors. With 2 to 4 players competing over 120 minutes, this game requires strategic planning and clever use of resources. The game's complex rules may take some time to learn, but the payoff is worth it. By building warehouses, locks, and exporting coal, you'll be vying for the most victory points and the title of ultimate coal trader.
