Description

Consequential is a thrilling cooperative board game designed by Chris Cieslik, where 1 to 5 players embark on an epic adventure through the fantasy world of Laris. This 60-minute game is perfect for fans of adventure and fantasy, but be warned, the rules can be a bit complicated and may take some time to learn. The game is set in a world where technology and magic have merged, causing the Cataclysm, an event that has torn holes in the fabric of time and space. Players take on the roles of heroes who must work together to mend both their world and Laris. As players journey through the game, they'll experience a unique blend of tabletop and digital gameplay, thanks to a free companion app that's required for play. The app brings the game to life with voice-acted events, triggered by actions in the physical game, and helps to keep track of time during the real-time phases. Each episode of Consequential is divided into two phases: a turn-based phase that lasts around 45 minutes, and a real-time phase that concludes the session in about 10 minutes.
