Description

The Lord of the Rings is a cooperative game where 2 to 5 players work together to destroy the Ring while surviving the corrupting influence of Sauron. Each player takes on the role of a Hobbit, each with unique powers, and navigates through four conflict game boards, representing iconic locations from the trilogy. The goal is to advance along multiple tracks, such as fighting, hiding, and traveling, by playing quest cards with matching symbols. As players progress, they must balance their physical journey across Middle Earth with the growing corrupting influence of Sauron. The game requires strategic hand management and careful decision-making to collect powerful runes, unlock legendary cards, and avoid corruption.
