Description

Black Spy is a classic trick-taking game with a spy-themed twist. Designed by Alan R. Moon and first published in 1981, it's a simple yet engaging game that's easy to learn and plays quickly, typically lasting around 45 minutes. In Black Spy, 3 to 6 players compete to enlist the best spies while avoiding the black spies, who will always turn against you. The game is all about strategy and cunning, as players take turns laying down cards to win tricks and score points. With its film noir-inspired theme and straightforward rules, Black Spy is a great introduction to trick-taking games, and its short playtime makes it perfect for a fun evening with friends. The goal is to have the lowest score at the end of the game, so players must carefully balance their attempts to collect valuable spies with the risk of picking up black cards that could hurt their chances.
