Description

In Paper Tales, you'll embark on a fantastical journey through two centuries of expansion and combat, shaping your kingdom with each passing turn. With easy-to-learn rules, 2 to 5 players can join in on the fun, drafting units and recruiting them to their kingdom in a simultaneous drafting card game. The goal is to build a strong and prosperous realm, generating income, constructing dominant buildings, and earning legend points. As your units grow older with each turn, you'll need to adapt your strategy to make the most of the four hiring positions available during the four rounds of play. With moderate in-game text, you'll want to have a crib sheet or paste ups handy to keep track of everything. Designed by Masato Uesugi and published in 2017, Paper Tales offers a unique blend of drafting, hand management, and secret unit deployment that will keep you on your toes for 30 minutes of thrilling gameplay.
