Description

The Australian Bush is a treacherous place, especially at night, and in Drop Bears: Survival Series, Chapter 1, you'll find out just how deadly it can be. As a group of inexperienced tourist campers, you've ventured into the darkness, unaware of the horrors that await you. The Drop Bears, hideous koala-like creatures, are lurking in the gum trees, ready to drop down and devour you at a moment's notice. Your goal is simple: survive until dawn. With 1 to 4 players working together, you'll need to carefully choose your actions each turn to stay alive, scavenging for gear and using your wits to outsmart the Drop Bears. As you navigate the modular board, the Australian Bush itself will seem to be working against you, with the landscape and environment posing just as much of a threat as the Drop Bears. With each camper that falls, the creatures will close in, making it even harder to survive. But don't worry, you won't be out of the game just yet - you'll get to select a new camper to join the fight, but every death brings the Drop Bears closer to victory. With no weapons to defend yourselves, you'll need to rely on teamwork and strategy to make it through the night. Will you be able to work together and use your skills to survive, or will the Drop Bears prove too much to handle? In this 30 to 60 minute game, you'll find out just how resourceful you can be in the face of horror and adventure.
