Rise Up: The Game of People and Power is a cooperative board game where you and your friends work together to build a movement and create change. With easy-to-learn rules, 2 to 5 players can join in and play through a game in about 60 to 90 minutes. You'll take on the role of a group of people fighting against oppressive systems, using Movement Cards to grow your power and take down the system. As you play, you'll strategize with your fellow players to create a chain of events that increases your impact, all while the system retaliates with its own cards. With a double-sided board, Rise Up is accessible to both new and experienced players, making it a great game for a wide range of people. Designed by Brian Van Slyke and published in 2017, Rise Up is a fun and engaging way to explore the power of people and politics, and with its cooperative gameplay, everyone works together to win.
