With Fire and Sword is a strategic game that drops you into the midst of the 30 Years War, a brutal dynastic struggle that engulfed Western Europe from 1618 to 1648. As one of two players, you'll take on the role of either the Habsburg forces or the Anti-Habsburg coalition, navigating the complex web of alliances and rivalries that defined this period. The game map stretches across Eastern France, the Benelux countries, mid-Poland and Hungary, and up to the Baltic Coast, with a scale of 48 kilometers per hex.
