Description

Spukstaben is a cooperative word game where one to four players team up to save their precious type blocks from mischievous ghosts. In this fast-paced game, players take on the role of workers at an old-school letterpress printshop, where hordes of little ghosts, known as Spukstaben, appear at night to steal their letters. To defeat these ghosts, players must come up with words that contain as many of the stolen letters as possible, working together to reduce the ghosts' spook-energy. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, Spukstaben is easy to pick up and play, with each game lasting around 20 minutes. Designed by Moritz Dressler and published in 2020, this game is perfect for those who love word games and cooperative gameplay. Players must think fast and work together to save their type blocks and score points, making Spukstaben a fun and challenging game for players of all ages.
