Description

Get ready to travel back in time to 1893 and explore the twisted World's Fair Hotel, also known as H. H. Holmes' Murder Castle. In this thrilling board game, you'll navigate a chaotic and booby-trapped castle, racing to collect evidence while avoiding the sinister Holmes and other overnight guests who might just stab you in the back. The castle's layout is different every time, thanks to unique modular room tiles, and you'll encounter all sorts of obstacles, from trapdoors and greased chutes to brick walls and seeping gas. As you make your way through the castle, you'll draw from a deck of 79 event cards to gain an advantage or sabotage your opponents. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of 15 to 105 minutes, Crimes in History: H. H. Holmes' Murder Castle is a fun and unpredictable game for 1 to 7 players. Will you be the first to complete your evidence board and escape the Pharmacy, or will you fall victim to the castle's horrors?
