Description

In Taluva, you'll settle a South Sea island emerging from the ocean as volcanoes erupt, creating a unique landscape each time you play. With easy-to-learn rules, 2 to 4 players can jump into this abstract strategy game, competing to build the most impressive settlements in just 45 minutes. You'll place tiles to increase the island's size or height, and then add wooden buildings like huts, temples, and towers to your settlements. As you play, you'll need to balance expanding your own settlements with limiting your opponents' growth, using volcanoes to block or split their settlements. The game ends when all tiles are placed, and the player with the most temples wins, unless someone achieves ultimate victory by placing all their buildings of two types. With its simple rules and deep strategy, Taluva offers a fun and challenging experience for players of all skill levels.
