Description

Tigris & Euphrates is a classic board game designed by Reiner Knizia, where 2 to 4 players build civilizations in the ancient fertile crescent through tile placement. Each player has four leaders, representing farming, trading, religion, and government, which are used to collect victory points in these categories. However, the twist is that your final score is determined by your weakest category, encouraging players to balance their civilization's growth. As players expand their civilizations, conflicts arise when they connect on the board, leading to internal and external struggles for dominance. With a playtime of 60 to 120 minutes, Tigris & Euphrates offers a engaging and challenging experience, with a normal level of complexity that's easy to learn for board game enthusiasts. First published in 1997, this game has become a masterpiece of abstract strategy and territory building, with a unique blend of mechanics that will keep you coming back for more.
