Description

Gloom: Unwelcome Guests is a fantastically dark expansion to the original Gloom game, adding a whole new level of morbid fun for 2 to 5 players. With 55 new transparent cards to mix into your existing game, you'll get to introduce the miserable Malone mob to your family of misfits, along with a slew of new Modifiers, Events, and Untimely Deaths to make their lives even more unbearable. The Broken Arms Hotel, a new Residence card, is the perfect place for your unhappy family to reside, especially when paired with the Unhappy Homes expansion. This expansion is easy to learn and adds a fresh layer of strategy to the game, with new persistent effect icons that keep the special effects of cards active even when covered by another card. But beware of the Unwelcome Guest cards, which can throw a wrench into your plans by moving to join a family when a specific card is played, bringing all their Modifiers with them and potentially delaying the game's end. With a playtime of just 30 minutes, Gloom: Unwelcome Guests is the perfect addition to your game night, bringing humor and horror together in a deliciously dark way.
