Description

The world of Gloom is a dark and humorous place where misery loves company. In this card game, you'll control the fate of an eccentric family of misfits, aiming to make their lives as miserable as possible before they meet their demise. With a goal that's sad yet simple, you'll play horrible mishaps on your own characters to lower their Self-Worth scores, while trying to boost your opponents' characters with happy occasions. Designed by Keith Baker, Gloom features an innovative design with transparent plastic cards that allow multiple modifier cards to be played on top of each other. This unique design makes it easy to track the worth of each character, no matter how many modifiers they have. With its easy-to-learn rules and extensive use of dark humor, Gloom is a game that's sure to bring a twisted sense of fun to your game nights, and with several expansions available, the misery can continue for hours on end.
