Description

Fortress America is a thrilling board game where up to four players take on the roles of the United States and its invaders from around the world. In this alternate near-future scenario, the US must defend itself against hordes of Asian foes from the west, a union of South American countries from the south, and Soviet legions from the east. The game combines conventional infantry, mechanized units, and air power with futuristic elements like hovertanks, helicopters, and a "Star Wars" laser relay system. As the US player, you'll start with a skeleton defense and build up your forces throughout the game using a random deck of cards. The invading players, on the other hand, must manage their units wisely, as they're given all their units at the start. The game rewards combined arms tactics, where players use a mix of infantry, mechanized, and air power to gain an advantage. With its unique blend of modern warfare and science fiction elements, Fortress America offers a fun and challenging experience for 2 to 4 players.
