In Matcha, you'll embark on a journey to prepare the perfect Japanese tea ceremony, but with a twist. This 20-minute game for two players is all about strategic hand management and set collection, with a hint of bluffing. Easy to learn, Matcha challenges you to collect the right utensils by matching tea ceremony cards on the table, either by number or suit. As you play your cards secretly, you'll need to decide when to match and when to hold back, all while trying to outmaneuver your opponent. With only 18 tea ceremony cards and a limited number of utensil tokens, every move counts. Designed by David Harding, Matcha is a simple yet strategic game that's perfect for a quick gaming session, and its compact design makes it easy to take on the go, wherever you want to brew up some fun.
