Description

Genesis: Empires and Kingdoms of the Ancient Middle East is a game that lets you forge your own empire in the turbulent Late Bronze Age. You'll take on the role of one of the major Mesopotamian Bronze Age empires, such as Egypt, The Hittites, or Assyria, and compete to expand your economic reach and build your empire to greater levels. The game is all about strategic control of trade routes and commercial centers, as well as building spectacular monuments that will leave a lasting legacy. With a playtime of 450 to 600 minutes, Genesis is a game that will keep you engaged for hours, and its normal complexity rules make it accessible to anyone familiar with board games. Designed by Richard H. Berg and published in 2015, Genesis is a game of campaign and battle card-driven gameplay, dice rolling, and point-to-point movement, where you'll need to navigate the complexities of ancient civilizations and make tactical decisions to emerge victorious.
