Soldier King is a classic board game that drops you into the midst of a war of succession in a leaderless empire, where you'll need to navigate the complexities of diplomacy and conquest to emerge victorious. Each turn represents a season of campaigning, and your units will represent 10,000-20,000 troops, with infantry, light cavalry, and heavy cavalry units playing their own unique roles in battle. With a system of promoting units after battles, you'll be able to gradually improve your armies from green levies to battle-hardened guards, adding a rich layer of strategy and depth to the game.
